Meet the Cast
Mike Daniels is an actor/singer from Rhode Island. This is his first production with Inspiration and is very excited to work with them. Mike has been acting on stage and screen for the past 7 years with roles spanning from Drew in Rock of Ages to Tony in West Side Story. He is in a short film on Amazon Prime Video called Odd Men Out and a new episode was just released on YouTube for a web series he stars in called Ramble On. He is very grateful for this opportunity to perform during the pandemic; Theatre's and the arts have been put on hold, more so than any other entertainment source, and the chance to perform again is an opportunity and blessing he has been waiting for a while. Jonathan Grice is very honored and proud to be a part of the company of Godspell (2021) Starting his musical journey in NC, Grice has carried his passion for live theatre to RI and now after four consecutive years of residency, he has had the privilege to still perform and do what he loves to do the most. He breathes life into every role he plays and enjoys the process and hard work that goes into bringing out the raw, energetic force that only live theatre can provide. Leaving nothing but pure emotion left on the stage. Jonathan has played a vast collection of roles during the last few years, which include his most recent role as “Seaweed J. Stubbs” during Stadium Theaters run of “Hairspray: The Musical”. Other roles Grice has played include: The Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz), Lt. Eddie Souther “Sweaty Eddie” (Sister Act: The Musical), King Triton (The Little Mermaid: The Musical), and Teen Angel from (Grease: The Musical). Grice is very excited for his next musical debut of Godspell and believes this production to be one of the most fun shows he’ll get to date. Godspell tells a refreshing retelling of the last days of Jesus Christ and coming from a religious background, Grice intends to put his all into his character and to finally have this beautifully crafted musical under his belt.
Alexandra is a Senior at Marymount Manhattan in New York City where she is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and Theatre Arts Management. Alex also spent time in Arezzo Italy where she studied physical theatre at the Accademia dell’Arte. Alex has been teaching theatre classes for eight years throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York. Most recently she directed a production of 13 the musical with the Inspiration Performing Arts Inc. Some of her past productions include American Idiot at (Marymount Manhattan College), Veronica in Heathers, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Dorothy in Wizard of Oz and also Godspell 2012 (Stadium Theatre). Alex is extremely grateful for this production and to be given this opportunity to perform during such difficult times. Alex is thankful to the cast and crew for being extremely dedicated and working so hard and keeping everyone safe!
Gian Raffaele DiCostanzo is an actor, singer, dancer, voiceover artist and musician that was based in New York City prior to COVID-19. He is a graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in Theatre and Performance. Gian’s professional pursuits have taken him across the country and around the world to notable venues like the legendary Chicago Theatre. Cruises/Tours: Jersey Boys (NCL), PAW Patrol Live! (Nat’l Tour). Regional: Smokey Joe’s Café (Show Palace Dinner Theatre), Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story (Hackmatack Playhouse), Night the Music Died (Texas Family Musicals), Forever Plaid, Godspell 2012 (Stadium Theatre). Mackenzie Pirieé Kimball
Mackenzie is thrilled to be back performing with Inspiration once again in their production of Godspell (2021.) Not only will she be performing in this production, but she is also choreographing as well! Graduating from Salem State University (‘19) with a BFA in Theater Performance, Mackenzie is ready to transform the world of theater once more with this virtual performance. Having been trained in multiple genres of dance since the age of two, she was ready to jump right back into the creative mind set of a choreographer. Her recent credits include, “Mother” in Ragtime and “The Chaperone” in The Drowsy Chaperone. Mackenzie believes that this production is what we need in a time like this. Godspell is a beautiful story that can be transformed in many ways to adapt to the on goings around us. It’s very important that we bring light to every situation at hand! Enjoy!
Adam Landry is a Rhode Island based actor and musician, with over 60 productions under his belt spanning the last 20 years. Some of his favorite roles include Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast), Sparky (Forever Plaid), Judas (Godspell), The Scarecrow (The Wizard of Oz), Bert (Mary Poppins), and Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story, a role he has played on four separate occasions over the last few years. Adam has spent more time recently focusing on music, playing in many different groups of varying genres. He has opened for many famous acts including Herman’s Hermits, Orleans, Lee Ann Womack, and others. He and his different bands have also been seen at different New England fairs, including the Woodstock Fair and the Big E in Springfield, MA. He is currently pursuing a degree in Music Production from Berklee in Boson. Adam is also the music director for Inspiration Performing Arts Company’s “Sharing the Spotlight” program! Godspell is one of Adam’s all time favorite shows to perform, and he is extremely grateful to have been asked to be a part of such a unique experience. Enjoy the show!
Emily is the Founder and Executive Director of Inspiration Performing Arts Company and the "Sharing the Spotlight" program. Emily has performed for over twenty years and has been seen on various stages throughout New England. Apart from performing, she has worked with many schools and theater companies throughout the region as a director, choreographer, stage manager, and teaching artist. Emily is a graduate student at Boston University majoring in Arts Administration and Commercial Theater Production. She has a very specific vision for this production as the director and is very excited to share messages of hope and light throughout the community alongside her incredibly talented cast members/friends.
Elizabeth is a 22 year old musician from Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She began her acting career at a young age, touring with Kaleidoscope Theater as Goldilocks. Most recently, she was seen as Sherri in Rock of Ages and Sandy in Grease. Elizabeth is a gigging musician with various different bands, ranging from a 50s rock and roll group to a modern acoustic trio. Godspell is a show she holds close to her heart, as her parents met in a production of the show 25 years ago. Elizabeth is so excited to be part of such a talented cast and is very appreciative of everyone behind the scenes making this production possible!
Nikos is thrilled to be a part of this production as a cast member and IPAC public relations specialist and co-costumer, being able to participate in something that he loves despite today's current challenges. Nikos has been performing for over sixteen years and aside from theater, runs a makeup company with his sister that specializes in weddings, boudoir, and photoshoots. He is so happy to be a part of the IPAC family and is so proud of his fellow cast members and production team for their hard work on this impactful and important project!
Justina Mabray is beyond excited to be performing in her second show with Inspiration. She has been performing for over twenty years in many capacities. Not only has she found a love and passion for musical theatre, but Justina is a classically trained singer and dancer as well. She will graduate in the spring with a BA in music and English with hopes to obtain her masters in music therapy. She is the Junior Stage Production Director at JDP Theatre and the coach for the Majorettes at Johnston High School. Justina is thrilled to be working on Godspell with such an amazing, talented and dedicated cast and crew. She couldn’t be more thankful to take part in such a beautiful show during such a challenging time.
Kenzee Silva is a home-schooled high school freshman from Johnston RI. Kenzee is thrilled to be working with such amazing and talented people who are such role models for her. Kenzee's favorite roles have been Niko in "The Wizard of Oz" (Inspiration performing arts), Chip in "Beauty and the Beast" and, Teen Fiona in "Shrek" (both Johnston Dance and Performing Arts). Kenzee is so thankful to Emily Garven for this experience.
Kelsey Lindsay is15 years old from Cumberland, RI, and has been performing since the age of five. She grew up performing at the Stadium Theatre, some of her favorite shows include “Suessical Jr,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Frozen Jr." She has also been a part of the Inspiration Performing Troupe for 4 years, which was such a great experience! She missed the theatre world so much and is so grateful and excited to be in the cast of Godspell.
